Here is a main dealership part exchange sensible vw golf , and it’s the plus model, with the higher seating position, and storage everywhere….
Just look at the colour , what a fabulous shade of metallic grey or blue depending on where your stood.
Being a bit more practical than the usual golfs we normally stock, with plenty of places to ” stuff things”.

Driven from the main dealership, a grand distance of 85 miles, where, unsurprisingly, the car drove really well.Just the odd knock from the front suspension on the way back, quickly sorted by my mechanic.
Its had an mot and £300 of my hard earned:Anti roll bar bush, welding, rear brake calliper and pads, and a new tyre for the front….

– ENGINE,
Fitted with my absolute favourite engine ever made, the wonderful Volkswagen 1.9 TDI diesel engine.
You know the one, made to last for EVER, great fuel economy and very [Website URL removed] mated to a seamless 5 speed manual gearbox, and a whole 105 wild horses..
.As mentioned the car does drive well, clutch feels mid point, and changes without issues.
The car was happy along the motorways , and coping with town driving in the boring ” average speed camera ” along the A15.
The engine got upto temperature ( just like the photos), and sat there all the way home , brilliant…..

– EXTERIOR:
The car does have the usual spots of rust forming on the very edges of the front wheel arches, apart, from that the car is in good condition for its age, and the paintwork does still shine well.
Please see all the photos for its condition .
Finished in a lovely metallic Grey / blue paintwork, the car is in fairly good condition.
Its just had a 2 stage machine polish, and is almost free from ” light scratches” normally found on a car of this age.
Not much in the way of damage, so the car must have been cherished various owners.
There is a small graze to the passenger rear door, but most polished in,
A tiny scuff to the rear passenger bumper, but thats about it.
The car does look very presentable for its age and mileage.
The alloy wheels are in good condition, good tyres all round….

– INTERIOR:
This is where the ” MAGIC” happens..STORAGE is the word you’re looking for.
So to start at the top and work down:
4 roof mounted ceiling storage holders.
Door storage pocket,
Dash storage pockets everywhere.
The boot has a false floor,
The parcel shelf has a net underneath to put stuff, what a great idea.
The rear seats move backwards and forward , creating more boot or more leg room.
The rear seats recline too, wow !!!
As for the rest of the interior i hear you ask?
Well usual VW sturdy , hard wearing grey seats,
They are in incredible condition, with only the most minimal wear ,
The seats are genuinely in fabulous condition, and quite a surprise for 174k miles of use.
This car has been looked after, the carpets have come up well,
Plastics wiped and dressed, seats shampooed, so all now ready for further adventures, please see all the photos….
